: terminator : to be used when the device is in the DMX mode and the controller is the
last device in the DMX chain

The DMX starting address of the controller is defined by the first 9 DIP switches. The encoding
is binary : DIP switch 1 has value 1, DIP switch 2 is worth 2, DIP switch 3 has value 4, DIP
switch 4 is worth 8, etc...
Example : if 95 were the desired start address, then the settings for the first 9 switches would be
as follows : 111110100 = 1 + 2 + 4 + 8 + 16 + 0 + 64 + 0 + 0 = 95.
The moving head is controlled by 6 channels :
CHANNEL 1 : selects one of the 8 colours or colour cycle or rainbow effect
CHANNEL 2 : selects one of the gobos or the gobo cycle
CHANNEL 3 : for future expansion, not used right now
CHANNEL 4 : selects strobe and dimming function
CHANNEL 5 : pan movement (max. 360°)
CHANNEL 6 : tilt movement (max. 265°)
The LED next to the DIP switches indicates the status of the DMX signal. The LED flashes
when the DMX signal is being used. The LED remains lit continuously when the VDP250MH6
does not recognise the signal and the LED stays off when there is no DMX input signal.
6. Cleaning and Maintenance
1. All screws for installing the devices or parts of the device have to be screwed down tight and
must not be corroded.
2. The housing, the lenses, the mounting supports and the installation location (e.g. ceiling,
suspension, trussing) should not be modified or tampered with e.g. do not drill extra holes in
mounting supports, do not change the location of the connections, ...
3. The electric power supply cables must not show any damage. Have the device installed by a
qualified technician.
