Prior to using the item for the first time, charge to 100%. Ensure the item, charger, and
charging port are dry.

4. Battery charging and activation

INSTRUCTIONS
- Remove the rubber cover from the
charging socket
- Connect the battery charger to
the charging port and then to the
power socket.
- When the item is fully charged, the
light on the charger changes from
red (charging) to green (charging
complete).
- After charging, close the rubber
cover on the charging socket
- Unplug the battery charger from
the power socket
- To access the battery, lift the
footrest
- Switch off the battery if there is a
red button (B)
- Connect the battery charger to the
charging port (B) and then to the
power socket.
- When the item is fully charged, the
light on the charger changes from
red (charging) to green (charging
complete).
- After charging, close the rubber
cover on the charging socket
- Unplug the battery charger from
the power socket
- The battery can be removed; use
the wrenches supplied to release
the lock (C)
- Disconnect the power connector
and remove the battery.
