1. Remove the sensor from the process (observe the instructions in the installation, operation
and maintenance chapters in the sensor instruction manual).
2. Clean the sensor head with a soft cloth, where appropriate with a mild detergent, and finally
with ultra-pure water or distilled water.
3. Place the sensor on a firm table with the sensor head upwards, and connect the sensor to
the transmitter and wait for 5 minutes (in order for the electronics to warm up).
4. Clean the inside of the verification kit with a soft cloth, where appropriate with a mild deter-
gent and finally with ultra-pure or distilled water. Clean the inside of the filler hose and dis-
charge tube of the verification kit with a mild detergent and finally with ultra-pure or distilled
water.
5. Carefully attach the verification kit to the sensor head using the process O-ring and
Varivent™ clamp. Align the verification kit such that the hollow on the sensor matches with
the nipple on the verification kit.
6. Fill the filler hose with ultra-pure water (with zero-FTU turbidity, bubble free). Slowly and
carefully, fill it until the discharge tube is approximately 3/5 filled.
7. Expel bubbles from the unit by tilting the sensor forward and backward about 45°. Slowly
tilt the sensor from side to side about 10 times.
8. Place the sensor vertically on the table and check the measured value on the transmitter.
This value should be recorded on the attached sheet.

ating procedures (SOPs). However, sensor verification is recommended every half-
year to a year, or whenever necessary.
