9. Drain the water by tilting the sensor and verification kit and empty the water through the dis-
charge tube.
10. Remove the Varivent clamp and O-ring from the process connection.
11. Remove the verification kit carefully without damaging the turbiglass.
12. Carefully clean and dry the verification kit with a soft cloth. Keep it in its case to protect it
from dirt and moisture. Store the case at room temperature.
Zero-point verification with ultra-pure water
Besides the turbidity verification with turbiglass, this verification kit can also verify the zero-point
using ultra-pure water.
1. Place the sensor on a firm table with the sensor head upwards, and connect the sensor to
the transmitter and wait for 5 minutes (in order for the electronics to warm up).
2. Clean the groove and wetted parts of the sensor head with ultra-pure water, rinse 3 times.
3. Completely fill the groove of the sensor head with ultra-pure water. Ensure there are no bub-
bles in the groove.
