Recording audio sources with external components

If you connect an external recorder to this unit, you can record sources played back on this unit. For details on the
connection methods, refer to "Connecting external components" (see page 12).
Note
Before making any connections with or operating your external component, read the owner's manual supplied with your component.

Notes
• Radio stations are not output from the DIGITAL OPTICAL
OUT jack. To record FM/AM broadcasts, use a commercially
available audio cable to connect the AUX OUT L/R jack on
this unit to the analog input jack on your recorder.
• Turning off the external recorder connected to this unit during
playback may distort the sound or reduce the volume. In this
case, turn on the external recorder again.
• Making a test recording before the actual recording is
recommended.
• Audio recordings are restricted to your private enjoyment only.
Unauthorized use of copyrighted recordings can be copyright
infringement.
