2.6 Racing mode
Select from 12 different intensity patterns with 16 segments. Start a race against virtual competitors on
the virtual racetrack.
Selecting the Racing mode
• Make sure the main menu is shown. If necessary, press the 'Home' button.
• Turn the Control knob until the 'Racing' mode is highlighted. Then press the control knob to select it.
• A menu window with the overview of the 12 Racing programs (on two subordinate windows) is shown.
The intensity pattern of each program is shown as small orange bar diagram in the thumbnail pictures:
• Turn the Control knob until the desired Racing program is highlighted. Press the control knob to select it.
Setting the duration/ Performing the training
• A menu window with bar graph and numeric display for the time setting is shown. It is very similar to
the one for the workout mode (see Ch. 2.5).
• Turn the Control knob to determine the duration of your training. The current time value is shown above
the control bar. When the desired time is displayed, press the control knob to set it.
• Start your training with the START button. The Virtual racetrack is displayed: It shows your pulse rate
progress and the positions of you and your competitor.
• Try to win this race – but don't forget: NEVER overexert yourself!
• When the time is elapsed, the intensity is reset. You have finished your training!
