Display
During disc playback and when paused, each time the DISPLAY button
is pressed, the information shown on the display changes as follows .

Selecting tracks
Searching backward/forward
Press for at least
During playback, press and hold a skip (.//) button on the
main unit or the remote control (for at least one second) until search-
ing backward/forward starts . When you find the point where you
want to listen, press the play (y) button on the main unit or the
play/pause (y/9) button on the remote control .
You can change the backward/forward search speed by repeatedly
pressing and holding the skip (.//) button (for at least one
second each time) .
The speed that the < or > blinks on the display also changes .

Skipping tracks
During playback, press a skip (.//) button on the main unit
or the remote control to skip to the previous or next track and start
playback .
o Press the . button once to return to the beginning of the cur-
rent track . Press the . button repeatedly to return to an earlier
track .
If the playback position is less than one second from the begin-
ning of the current track, however, pressing the . button will
skip to the beginning of the previous track .
o When stopped or paused, use the .// buttons to select a
track and pause at its beginning .
