explode.
If GCY42 connectivity module is not
purchased with the tool, or if the
replacement of the module or the
battery becomes necessary, please
follow this procedure (See Fig. 7):
- Using a flat screwdriver or a coin,
remove the cover (25) from the side
of the handle, by turning it 1/4 turn
counter-clockwise.
- If the tool is already equipped with
the connectivity module, remove the
battery (26), but do not remove the
connectivity module (27).
- If the connectivity module is installed
for the first time, remove the plastic
placeholder
connectivity module compartment,
and place the connectivity module
(27) in the compartment observing
correct orientation. Note: Store the
placeholder (28) in a safe place.
Reinsert the placeholder again if the
communications module is removed.
- Next place new battery (26) on the
top of the connectivity module with
the "+" polarity facing up.
- Place the cover (25) over the battery
and turn it ¼-turn clockwise to lock
using a flat screwdriver or a coin.
