The receiver must have a key transmitter:
Press and hold the P button of the receiver for at least 15s until the
1)
GREEN LED flashes quickly.
2)
Press the button on the "key" transmitter.
3)
The GREEN LED stays on for 5s, then turns off.
In this way, the remote control will no longer be a "key" remote control but
will act as a normally stored remote control. The receiver can now store new
transmitters with standard procedures.
IMPORTANT!
-
If the master transmitter is lost, it will no longer be possible to
memorize other transmitters, except by means of a total reset of
the receiver and consequent cancellation of all stored transmitters.
-
A maximum of 3 key transmitters can be created for each single
receiver. In the case of systems with a large number of users, at least
one spare key transmitter should be created.
-
All stored key transmitters must be removed to completely unlock the
receiver.
-
Any ARC transmitter model can act as a key transmitter.
The function is only available in ARC mode (the first transmitter
memorized is an ARC), therefore only the transmitters and devices that
transmit an ARC code can be used. The models available when this
manual was prepared are:
TOGO (2A/4A/2VA/4VA/2AK/4AK)
HAPPY (2VA/4VA/2AK/4AK)
IRI.TX( 4VA/4AK).
In any case, transmitters with the ARC logo are compatible.
-
Clones of transmitters stored prior to the creation of the key transmitter
only work if used at least once, otherwise the receiver, having never
received the transmitter code cloned, does not recognize it and will not
enable it.
10
-
The transmitter cloned by the key transmitter assumes the
characteristics (channel-associations) that the key transmitter originally
had.
-
The possibility of changing the channel operating mode (impulsive,
bistable, timed, etc.) is also prevented in receivers protected with a
master transmitter.
