To ignite the burners, press the control and rotate anticlockwise to the required position.

Filling the tub

The pasta cooker has a filler tap built into the tub, which is controlled by control A.
There are two possible ways to fill the cooker:
Fast fill which fills the tub in a short period of time.

Turn control A to position
Continuous fill which allows the water level to be maintained throughout the cooking.

Turn control A to position

Tub drainage

Open the door.
Open the drainage valve in the interior of the tub.

Useful tips

Read the useful tips listed below carefully in order to get the most out of your pasta cooker.
5.3.1

Initial cleaning

After installing the appliance and before filling the tub with water, it is important to clean the tub.

Then, fill the tub with water with detergent, leaving it to boil for a few minutes.
After draining and rinsing the tub as often as necessary to remove all traces of soap, the tub should be
dried.
5.3.2

Maintenance

FAGOR INDUSTRIAL recommends a service of all the operating components of the pasta cooker at
least once a year to check their condition and the correct operation of the appliance. This service
must be carried out by an OFFICIAL AND/OR AUTHORISED TECHNICAL SERVICE.
The replacement of any functional component that may affect the safety of either the appliance or
the user should be performed by an OFFICIAL AND/OR AUTHORISED TECHNICAL SERVICE,
using the appropriate original spare parts.
Always clean the machine correctly to prolong the service life of the machine.
Remove any waste from the machine at the end of each day.
Do not use abrasive, corrosive or acid products, chlorine-based detergents, solvents or
petrol derivatives to clean the machine.
Do not use pressurised water to clean the machine.
It is advisable to regularly clean the inner part of the tub with soapy water that is left to boil
for a few minutes, and then rinse it with plenty of water. Then rinse it with plenty of water
and dry. The containers should be removed to clean the tub.
If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, after-sales service or
authorised technical personnel in order to prevent risks.
5.3.3

Prolonged periods of no use

If the machine is kept out of service for a long period of time (holidays, temporary closure,...), please
observe the following:
Close the gas supply.
Clean the machine and the adjacent areas thoroughly.
Leave the door of the machine open.
Sprinkle a thin layer of edible oil on the stainless steel surfaces.
