CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE.
To ensure the correct operation of your boiler, the following Cleaning and maintenance operations are
necessary at the indicated frequency. The boiler must always be cold.
The deterioration of the boiler parts by a lack of cleaning involves the loss of the two-year warranty offered
by ECOFOREST (see warranty section).
It is highly recommended to exercise extreme caution when handling the interior of the boiler, due to the
possible existence of sharp edges or manufacturing burrs.
MAINTENANCE AT END OF SEASON OR AFTER AN ALARM MESSAGE (A001/A036/A037/A038/A039).
This is necessary to ensure correct operation and maintain the boiler's life duration. As soon as the winter
season ends or the kg of fuel indicated in point 2 are consumed, contact your distributor (if he did not contact you)
and meet to carry out this maintenance; the following shall be done (the boiler must always be disconnected from
power):
Screw driver / allen wrench. 3, 4 and 5mm
Screw driver / Torx wrench. T20
Spanner.
Cable / cord / wire.
Cleaning brush
Vacuum cleaning
Exchanger cleaner.

Ash box. (Since they are all similar, model VAP24 will be used as an example).
Empty the ash box at the end of the season or after an alarm message (see User manual). To remove the ash
box the boiler must be off, you have to first take out the through bolt. Please check the capacity of the ash
box (Technical characteristics).
Once the ash box has been emptied, put it back into place.
Warning: the ash extraction system won't work and the boiler will not operate properly, as long as the ash
box is not in its intended position or the cover is open, if the cover is open or badly closed, or if the sensor is
in the wrong position.
