1 Identification
The EWR 2/EWR 2 Net (electronic welding regulator) gas management system is used to regulate the gas
supply during MIG/MAG and TIG gas welding. The device is used in both manual and automated
applications. The device may be operated only with original ABICOR BINZEL spare parts. These operating
instructions only describe the EWR 2/EWR 2 Net gas management system with firmware version 1.9.0
and higher. When used in these operating instructions, the terms "device", "product", and "gas
management system" always refer to the EWR 2/EWR 2 Net gas management system. The device is
available in versions EWR 2 and EWR 2 Net.
