• Installation, repairs and maintenance work on the
electrical equipment may only be carried out by
electricians.
• All protective and safety equipment must be reas-
sembled immediately after repair and maintenance
work is completed.
• Switch off the engine when leaving the work station.

Additional safety instructions for the log splitter
• The log splitter may only be operated by a single
person.
• Wear protective equipment (safety goggles/visor,
gloves, hearing protection, safety shoes) in order to
protect yourself from potential injuries.
• Never split trunks that contain nails, wire, or other
objects.
• Wood that has already been split and wood chip-
pings create a hazardous work area. There is a dan-
ger of tripping, slipping or falling. Always keep the
work area orderly.
• Never place your hands on moving parts of the ma-
chine when it is switched on.
• Only split wood with a maximum length of 107 cm.
• Check the hydraulic lines and hoses before starting
work
• Check the function of the machine's protective de-
vices
• Do not reach into the splitting area
• If wood becomes jammed, switch off the machine
and carefully remove the wood.

Before using the machine, the usage and mainte-
nance manual must be read in full.

Safety shoes must always be worn to ensure pro-
tection against the risk of trunks falling on feet.

Work gloves must always be worn to protect the
hands against chips and fragments that may occur
during work.

Safety goggles or visors must always be worn to
protect the eyes against chips and fragments that
may occur during work.

It is prohibited to remove or modify protective or
safety equipment.

Apart from the operator, it is forbidden to stand
within the working radius of the machine. No other
person or animal may be present within a 5 metre
radius of the machine.
7.
The discharging of waste oil into the environment
is prohibited. The oil must be disposed of in ac-
cordance with the legal requirements of the coun-
try in which the operation takes place.
8.
Danger of cuts and crushing to the hands: Never
touch dangerous areas while the splitting tool is
moving.
9.
Warning: Always pay attention to the movement of
the trunk lifter.
10. Warning: Never remove a trunk with your hands
that is entangled in the splitting tool.
11. Warning: Disconnect the mains plug before un-
dertaking any maintenance work described in this
manual.
12. Warning: Voltage as indicated on the type plate.
ATTENTION! The following basic safety measures
must be observed when using power tools for pro-
tection against electric shock, and the risk of in-
jury and fire.
Read all these notices before using the power tool
and store the safety instructions well for later ref-
erence.

from your work area.

Securely store unused electric tools
• Unused power tools should be stored in a dry, ele-
vated or closed location out of the reach of children.
6.
Do not overload your power tool
• They work better and more safely in the specified
output range.
