Recline Button and Recline Indicator for Harnessed Mode
NOTES:
•
The seat has nine (9) recline positions.
•
Set the recline position before installing.
•
The vehicle MUST be on level ground.
•
A pool noodle or rolled towel should ONLY be used if
the child does NOT have head and neck control and you
are unable to achieve proper installation REAR-facing
with the base flat and parallel to the vehicle seat with
the recline indicator arrow tip in the solid blue section.
When using a pool noodle or towel to place the recline
indicator arrow tip in the solid blue section, you must
ensure the car seat is REAR-facing in recline position 1.
IMPORTANT:
Car seat base MUST be flat on vehicle seat
and MUST be parallel to vehicle seat.
Reclining the Seat in Harness Mode
1� Push the recline button
on either side of the
base and rotate the child
restraint until it is in the
desired recline position.
2� Check the recline
indicator on the side of
child restraint for correct
angle. Look straight on
at the recline indicator
window and check that
the tip of the recline
indicator arrow is in the
correct position (see next
page).
3� Release the recline
button and verify the
restraint has locked
into position.
