6.1. Cleaning
Condensing unit
Clean the condensing unit (1) (Fig. 3) at least once a year and in any case
before using for the first time at the start of the season. If the vehicle is used
in dusty environments, clean the condensing unit more frequently.
Remove the outer covering by unscrewing the fastening screws on the sides.
Remove any dust or dirt that has built up inside the condenser and blow it
through with compressed air at low pressure. Refit the outer cover and screw
it into place. Clean the outer covering with a sponge cloth moistened in warm
water; rinse with a sponge cloth moistened in cold water and dry with a soft
cloth. Do not use abrasive products or aggressive detergents.
Evaporating unit.
Clean the evaporating unit at least once in a season and in any case, before
using for the first time at the start of the season. This cleaning operation needs
to be performed by an assistance centre or by the installation engineer.
The company cannot accept any liability for water infiltrations resulting
from the removal or imperfect airtight closure of the insulation cap.

Before carrying out any maintenance operation, make

sure that the conditioner is not connected to the power
supply.
Do not use abrasive products, corrosive detergents or

solvents to clean the conditioner.
While washing the vehicle, never direct the pressure
q
washer jet towards the ventilation grids.
Never use hot water to clean plastic parts, as this could
q
deform them.
