10. Rotate the wheel by hand to check for free
movement and proper adjustments.
11. Plug in the bench grinder, put on eye
protection, stand to one side and run the

Transporting (Fig . 14)
To avoid injury, follow all instructions below:
Unplug the electric cord and wind it up.
•
Never lift the bench grinder by the power
•
cord. Attempting to lift or carry the tool by
the power cord will damage the insulation
and the wire connections, resulting in electric
shock or fire.
Never lift the bench grinder by gripping any
•
of the grinding wheels. The bench grinder
may unexpectedly move and cause severe
injuries to your fingers or hands.
Before lifting the bench grinder, make sure
•
that the bench grinder has cooled down after operation.
Only lift the bench grinder by gripping both bottom surfaces of the wheel guards.
•
Place the bench grinder on a firm, level surface where there is plenty of room for handling
•
the workpiece.
Storage
Store the bench grinder and the grinding wheels in such a way as to prevent them from the
potential hazards of moisture, contamination, and other damage.
