7.4 MIN and MAX markings
There are three markings indicated inside the canister (6).
The MIN marking indicates the minimum fill
capacity.
The lower MAX marking indicates the maximum
fill capacity when making milk froth.
The upper MAX marking indicates the maximum
fill capacity when heating milk.
CAUTION! A program must never be selected at
this fill capacity for making milk froth! It would not
be possible to prevent the milk from overflowing.
7.5 Tips on how to make good milk froth
Please note that the frothing quality depends on the milk used and can vary greatly.
 We recommend using cow's milk. Other types of milk behave differently during the frothing
process. This can result in milk overflowing out of the milk frother.
 It is best to use milk with a fat content of 3.5 per cent. Low-fat milk and skimmed milk do not
froth well.
 The milk should be cool.
 Do not try to froth the milk a second time if you do not like the milk froth the first time. This is
because the milk can burn.
 If you find the milk froth to be too liquidy, we recommend leaving it to rest for around 30
seconds. During this time, the liquid milk can sink down and the milk froth achieves a better
consistency.
