3 Using the gas analyser
When the analyser 810 is switched on, a short introduction message is
displayed, then the analyser opens the main page from where you can select
the type of test to be performed.
The tests that can be accessed from the main selection window are:
- Free Page: to read the main emission values and the main engine values
(temperature and rpm).
- Blue Tag: to release the blue tag of petrol vehicles
- Official Procedure: to carry out the test following the latest regulatory
references for gas analysis.

Press ENTER ( ) from the main menu to enter "Free page".
After switching on, the instrument starts the warm-up phase ("WARM UP")
during which you have to wait for the heating of the analysis cell to be
completed before performing the analysis. In this phase the analyser pump is
off.
During the warm-up of the analyser the display will show 'Please wait...' and a
bar will indicate the warm-up progress.
The warm-up time is 3 - 5 minutes on average, depending on ambient
temperature.
At the end of the "WARM UP", the pump switches on, and the display shows
"Analyser reset in progress Please wait".
The gas values will appear after about 30 seconds, as shown in the figure:
