MAINTENANCE
Main brushes
The main brushes sweep dust and refuse into the bin at the rear of the
sweeper.
Attention!
Never sweep up string, wire, etc.,which can become
entangled in the brushes and damage the bristles.
Periodically check the condition of the brushes.
Adjusting the main brushes
The main brushes should just touch the fl oor. While the sweeper is
stationary on an even fl oor the section of fl oor covered by the bristles
should be 3 cm wide (see Fig.4). If the main brushes no longer touch the
fl oor, or leave lines of dirt, they have worn down and must be adjusted.
Proceed as follows to adjust the main brushes:
1) slacken off knob 1, fi g.4
2) use the wrench 3 or 4 (fi g.4) on tie-rod 2 to lower the brushes and
turn it clockwise to obtain the right trace
3) re-tighten knob 1.

Cepillos centrales
Los cepillos centrales cargan la basura en el contenedor trasero.
Atención!
no recoger nunca hilos, cuerdas etc, porque
si se enrollan en el cepillo pueden dañar las
cerdas. Se aconseja una inspección periódica
del estado de los cepillos.
Regulación de los cepillos centrales
Los cepillos centrales deben solamente rozar el suelo, dejando una
marca (con la máquina parada en horizontal) de 3 cm. de anchura
(como indicado en la fi g.4). Cuando los cepillos centrales estando en
posición de trabajo no tocan el terreno y dejar marcas de suciedad,
signifi ca que se ha gastado el diámetro; por tanto es necesario regular
la bajada de la siguiente forma:
1) Afl ojar el pomo de bloqueo 1, fi g 4;
2) utilizando una llave 3 o 4 (fi g.4), bajar los cepillos girando
en sentido horario el tirante 2 hasta obtener la marca correcta.
3) bloquear el pomo 1.
