Unit connection
Once the carriage is fully installed on the beam, the lifting unit may be connected to the load drawbar. Refer to the user and
maintenance manual for the unit
Movement
Once the carriage is connected to the interface of the lifting unit, the load may be lifted. Once again, refer to the user and main-
tenance manual.
To move the assembly, proceed as follows:
· push the carriage from a point where it can be gripped securely in the case of the thrust driven model (fig. 10A).
· adjust the manoeuvre chain on the chain driven model (fig. 10B).
When moving the load with the carriage, it is necessary to change position constantly, taking care to avoid harsh acceleration
and braking, shocks and jolting which could destabilise it and place the safety of the operator at risk.
Once the unloading position has been reached, lower the load as described in the user and maintenance manual of the lifting unit.
Important:
When the accessory is to be removed from service, make sure no loads are applied and the cable has been loosened
to the point where it can be removed from the load.
STORAGE
The accessory has to be stored in a dry place protected against water. Clean the carriage and lubricate the moving parts with lubricant
oil before storing.
MAINTENANCE
The accessory has to be inspected and tested at regular intervals, while loaded, by a qualified technical specialist, and in any case at
least once a year, in accordance with the safety regulations in force in the country of use.
The mechanical components have to be lubricated at regular intervals, especially after particularly arduous and intense use.
Carry out regular checks on the condition of the drawbar eye, rollers, the structure in general, hooks and fixing bolts.
