"Auto-flush" function
Important!
When the "Auto-flush" function is used, a reliable water-drain must be ensured.
• The "Auto-flush" function ensures that forced flushing takes place to exchange the
water in the tap lines after 24 or 72 hours of non-use.
• The "Auto-flush" function can only be switched on with the optional remote control
(FAR Order No. 5179 0000).
• This function is switched off at the factory.

12.1 Set the mixing lever (a) in the desired position.

12.2 Remove the plug (b).
12.3 Use a hollow hexagon wrench (c) to set the required mixing-water temperature.
12.4 Push in the plug.

13. Programmable Function Parameters

The optional remote control FAR Order No. 5179 00 00 offers the following functions:
– Setting the range (3–20 cm)
– Setting the turn-off delay (0–10 s)
– Activating or switching continuous operation for 3.5 min or 11 min.
– Switching off the valve
– Restoring basic settings
– Test mode for simulating without water
– Setting automatic safety switch-off (2–210 s)
– Activating automatic flushing

Important!
Reflecting surfaces can influence the sensor. There is a risk of having permanent
reflections. The range must thus be reduced for installations on stainless steel
washbasins that have reflecting surfaces. If this is not adequate, an additional base/
spacing ring is available (see Chapter 20.).
