Use
· Always place the pizza stone in the cold device and allow it to preheat
together with the device. Caution: Avoid extreme temperature shocks,
as these can cause stress cracks and thus damage the stone.
· Use a washable, heat resistant base to protect sensitive surfaces.
· Ensure sufficient free space above and near the appliance.
· Place the pizza stone in the lower part of the device and make sure
that it lies flush in the holder and that the handles are folded
downwards.
· Close the lid, insert the plug into a suitable socket and turn the temperature
regulation knobs for top and bottom heat on the highest level. The
indicator lights will switch on.
· Attention: Ensure that the power cord does not touch any hot surfaces
of the housing.
· Let the device preheat for around 10 minutes. Then reduce the bottom
heat to level 2-3 and the top heat to level 3-4.
· Place the prepared pizza on the hot stone with a pizza paddle. Make
sure that neither the pizza pastry nor the ingredients on top touch the
upper heating element or the lid. Take into account that the pizza dough
will rise or form bubbles.
· Caution: Do not use the pizza stone to thaw frozen food. Do not place
frozen food on the hot stone. Allow frozen pizza to thaw before baking.
· Monitor the cooking level and adjust the temperature if necessary.
Basically, the temperature setting of the bottom heat can be lower than
that of the top heat, as the stone retains the heat. Try different temperature
settings until you get the best result for you.

· After 4-5 minutes, depending on the set temperature, the desired
browning, the consistency and the thickness of the pizza dough as well
as the quantity of ingredients put on top, the pizza is finished. To check
the browning lift up the lid carefully, as hot vapour may escape.
Eventually leave the pizza to bake a little more. Increase the temperature
of the top and/or bottom heat, if necessary.
· As soon as the pizza is ready, open the lid carefully as hot vapour may
escape, and remove the pizza with the pizza paddle. If necessary, use
oven gloves or pot holders.
· Note: Do not cut on the pizza stone. Do not leave any utensils that
can melt or deform on the hot stone.
· After use, always adjust both temperature knobs to position 0, always
pull the plug and allow the appliance to cool down completely.
Tips and tricks
· Roll out the dough accurately so that it does not exceed the edge of the
pizza stone.
· Cut the pizza dough into smaller pieces as this facilitates the use. Moreover
you can bake several different mini pizzas at the same time.
· Dust the pizza paddle very generously with flour to prevent the pizza
dough from sticking.
· For keeping warm pizza, adjust the temperature to a low level.
