• Always install the soaking caps before rinsing
and sterilizing the device. Failure to properly
tighten the soaking caps will corrode the
connector pins and void the warranty.
• To minimize galvanic corrosion, avoid soaking
dissimilar metals in close proximity.
• Avoid leaving the device in sterilization
solutions longer than necessary, as this will
accelerate normal product aging. Extension
cable life is extended by the consistent use
of a single sterilization method.
Limitations on Reprocessing
• Proper processing has a minimal effect on this
device. End of life is normally determined by
wear and damage due to use.
• Do not cross-sterilize the device. Using multiple
sterilization methods may significantly reduce
the performance of the device.
• Do not leave the device in solutions longer
than necessary. This may accelerate normal
product aging.
• Damage incurred by improper processing will
not be covered by the warranty.
