Safety instructions
DANGER! Determination and assessment of hazards in accordance with the
German Health and Safety at Work Act
● According to the German Health and Safety at Work Act, the employer must assess what haz
ards are present for those occupied in the work and what health and safety measures are neces
sary. Observe the information from the employers' liability insurance association for commercial
kitchens!
● The employer must specify and provide the personal protective equipment.
WARNING! Risk of injury
● Persons with body implants, e.g., a pacemaker or metal implants, must consult their doctor to
clarify whether they are allowed to be near an induction appliance.
● While hob is being used with a pan on it, objects worn by the user, e.g. rings, earrings and pierc
ings can become hot if they come too close to the surface of the hob.

● Risk of burning! Appliance surfaces get hot! Pans become hot very quickly! Caution when remov
ing overheated pans!
● The glass ceramic cooking surface remains hot after use!
● If the glass ceramic cooking surface is cracked or broken; or the circumferential silicone seal is
defective:
− Switch off the unit.
− Switch off the electric main switch upstream of the appliance, or disconnect the mains plug.
− Contact an authorized customer service.
DANGER! Risk of fire, fire fighting
● Cooking oil or cooking fat gets hot very quickly and can ignite. When working with cooking oil or
fat, proceed with the appropriate caution! The appliance must not be used for deep frying!
● Approved fire extinguishers or extinguishing equipment for cooking oil and fat fires must be
available for fighting fires.

● Risk of short-circuit: Make sure that the pots
and pans do not touch each other. The contact
surfaces can weld together and result in burns.
● Do not position cookware with the handles in
side/over the cooking zone. Depending on the
design of pan, shafts and handles can become
very hot. Always hold using oven gloves.
