5. GENERAL DRIVING TIPS:
• Always place the buggy on a fl at surface.
• Always move the controls slowly and gently.
• Always look at the buggy and not at the controller.
• If the buggy slows down, pull slightly harder on the speed control. During the fi rst attempts at driving,
users tend to by heavy-handed with the controls.
• To turn the buggy, the steering control usually only needs to be moved very slightly in the
corresponding direction.
• To begin with drivers should try to control the speed and steering. The buggy does not need to
move fast to begin with – it is much more important to maintain a constant speed by careful use of
the speed control.
The buggy's electronics have a so-called fail safe mode that switches off the motor automatically when
• the buggy moves outside remote control range.
• the radio connection between the remote control and buggy is disrupted for more than 2 seconds.
• the motor threatens to overheat.
In such cases, bring your buggy back within range of the remote control and override the fail-safe mode as follows:
1. Set the reverse switches TH and ST on the remote control to normal (NOR). Switch on the remote control and the receiver on the buggy simultaneously so that the LED on the receiver shines red continuously.
2. Press the F/S SET button on the receiver so that the LED begins to blink red rapidly.
3. Turn the speed trim control (TH. TRIM) on the remote control anticlockwise as far as it will go. Then press the F/S SET button on the receiver again so that the LED shines red continuously again.
That completes the fail-safe override.
4. Don't forget to return the speed trim control (TH. TRIM) to the middle setting.
If necessary, move to another location with no obstacles. If the motor has overheated, stop driving and allow the motor to cool down for a while.
After a crash, always release the speed control immediately to avoid damaging the electronics.
Each time you start the buggy, there is an automatic synchronisation/detection between the controller and the control electronics on your buggy – this is called binding.
Normally, this process does not need to be performed manually. However if a malfunction occurs (e.g. after repairs or tuning work), proceed as follows:
1. As usual, connect the buggy battery to the controller logic/motor.
2. Press the SW switch on the buggy's 2.4 GHz receiver and switch it on at the same time. The receiver's LED now fl ashes red.
3. Switch on your remote control too.
4. The red LED on the receiver now lights up permanently to indicate that the connection has been established.
Problem:
The wheels are not turning.
Problem:
The radio controller is not
working correctly.
Problem:
The buggy cannot be controlled
using the radio controller.
Problem:
The vehicle slows down and/or
stops during operation without
obvious cause.
Problem:
Steering changes cause the buggy
to turn in the opposite direction.

Coordinating the remote control with the buggy receiver (binding)
Troubleshooting:
Cause:
• The battery cable is not attached.
• The battery is too weak or dead.
Cause:
• The ON/OFF switch is set to "OFF".
• The batteries were inserted incorrectly.
• The batteries are too weak (only the left-hand
control LED lights up / acoustic signal sounds).
• The automatic coordination of remote control
and buggy receiver is disrupted.
Cause:
• The radio controller is set to "OFF".
• The battery cable is not attached.
Cause:
• The buggy battery is too weak.
• The safety circuit is active.
Cause:
• The steering reverse switch has been adjusted.
Also note the additional instructions provided for the brushless motor.

6. SUITABLE LOCATIONS:
The buggy should be operated in an area that meets the following criteria:
1. You should choose a place with as much open space as possible, with no obstacles.
2. When starting the buggy, make sure that there are no people or animals nearby.
3. Always watch the buggy to prevent it from crashing into the driver or other people or animals
and causing injury.
