INTRODUCTION AND MAIN INFORMATION
Before starting any intervention on
the machine, read this user instal-
lation and maintenance manual so
that all operations are performed
correctly.
Ensuring the best operation and per-
formance of the unit as described, is
dependant on installation being car-
ried out in accordance with the in-
structions in this manual and on the
system design and boiler plant.
This manual is an integral part of the
equipment and must be given to the
installation operators.
This
technical
documentation
includes all the information needed
for the product to function and be
maintained well. The equipment
must only be installed by suitably
qualified personnel.
It is important to fully read and
understand this manual before
installing, commissioning or main-
taining the module.
Failure to comply with these instruc-
= for actions which require particular care and suitable preparation

tion for the assembly, checking and
maintenance could result in injury to
people or damage to the equipment.
The manufacturer reserves the right
to amend the technical and con-
struction features, without prior
warning, in order to improve the
product..
The SimeConn II thermal module is
an interface between a user and a
centralised heating plant or city dis-
tribution network (district heating).
The equipment has been designed
to distribute domestic hot and cold
water, and heating/cooling water.
It has been designed for in-wall
installation to be carried out dur-
ing the construction of the building.
The painted external panel with the
frame is fitted flush with wall.
APPLICATIONS AND INTENDED USE
The SimeConn II thermal module
has been designed and manufac-
SYMBOLS AND SAFETY WARNINGS
tured to provide the most common-
ly requested functions in terms of
ease of use and heating and water
autonomy.
The main principle of this type of
module is thermal regulation and
metering and in fact it is equipped
with both an energy meter and a
domestic hot and cold water meter.
These meters quantify the consump-
tion of the respective users and are
supplied by the centralised distribu-
tion network with domestic hot water
production in the thermal unit
Any type of high or low temperature
system produced in the thermal unit
can be connected downstream from
the module.
All the types of meter modules can
be installed in specific technical
rooms or inside the homes them-
selves and are inspected, wired and
calibrated in the factory.
