6.5. CALCULATION OF THE CLAMPING FORCE DEPENDING ON
THE MATERIAL
Depending on the material, the clamping force must be multiplied by a factor, see
Calculation of the clamping force [} Page 14].

 Head diameter of the face driver: 26 mm
1. Workpiece diameter 35 mm / head diameter of the face driver 26 mm = 1.346

7. Maintenance
7.1. REPLACING THE CENTRING POINT
ü Cover (8) is removed.
ü Centring point safety pin (3) is removed.
1. Pull out the centring point (7).
2. Insert new centring point.
3. Insert centring point safety pin (3).
4. Fit the cover (8).
» Centring point replaced.
7.2. REPLACING THE DRIVERS
ü Cover (8) is removed.
ü Driver safety pins (4) are removed.
1. Pull out the drivers (6).
2. Insert new drivers.
3. Insert driver safety pins (4).
4. Fit the cover (8).
» Drivers replaced.
8. Cleaning
 To prevent malfunctioning, perform regular cleaning operations.
Observe assembly and disassembly.
Remove dirt using a soft clean dry cloth.
9. Storage
Before storage, clean the clamp and spray it with acid-free oil.
Cover with dry cloth before storage.
10. Spare parts
Use only original spare parts and wearing parts.
11. Disposal
Comply with the national and regional environmental protection and disposal regu-
lations for correct disposal or recycling. Segregate items into metals, non-metals,
composite materials and consumables and dispose of them responsibly.
