5- Remove the trim caps from the lock and the strike plate.
6- Place as many of the included shims that you need to compensate any unevenness
between the frame and the door and screw everything down.
The screws used for the lock are No. 10 (6 x 40 mm) and for the body of the strike plate
we use No. 9 (6 x 50 mm) for wooden doors. For metal and armoured doors use No. 8
(6.3 x 32 mm) in both cases.
