The respirator (PAPR) may not be used:
— in combustible or explosive atmospheres,
— if the oxygen concentration in the breathing air is
too low (Europe: <17 %, Australia: <19 %) or if
the concentration of toxins is so high that a higher
protection class than TH3P is required (Europe
and Australia),
— at temperatures less than -5 °C or greater than
+55 °C,
— in environments where there is a direct danger to
life and health.
WARNING
• Your employer (or yourself if you do not have a
direct employer) is/are responsible for ensuring
that this respirator is suitable for use.
• Würth cannot predict how the respirator will
behave in all environments. Materials may be
chemically attacked if exposed to a harmful en-
vironment and thus may exhibit excessive corro-
sion or other damage. Gases, liquids or particles
can penetrate the housing. Extreme temperatures
may result in destruction of the device due to
heat. These characteristics, or a combination of
them, could create conditions under which this
Würth respirator does not provide adequate
protection and could be dangerous.
• Before entering a hazardous environment, you
must ensure that the equipment is suitable for
use in such an environment. This evaluation
must be well documented. If necessary, consult
a certified safety expert or industrial hygienist.
DO NOT USE this device if the user could be
endangered in any way by decomposition of
the materials in the device resulting from the
environmental conditions.
• All persons using this respirator must be aware
of its limitations. Würth cannot be held respon-
sible for any property damage, personal injury
or death in which environmental exposure is a
contributory factor.
• Do not use this respirator if there is anything
between the helmet face mask and your face
(e.g. hair, bandana, headgear, etc.). This would
prevent proper sealing of the helmet and allow
contaminants to enter.
• Do not use this respirator in environments where
contaminant concentrations are unknown or
immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH).
IDLH atmospheres are defined as those in
which/where:
a. The wearer cannot breathe for short periods.
b. The wearer could not escape without the help of
a respirator.
c. An immediate or delayed detrimental effect on
the health could result.
• NEVER use this respirator without a master filter
TH3P WSH AIR III Item 0984690074
• Do not use this respirator if the environmental
conditions could lead to the respirator being
displaced or slipping.
• This respirator does not protect against gases or
vapours. It is only intended for protection against
particulate type impurities.
• Immediately withdraw to a non-contaminated
area if:
a. You taste or smell an impurity or if your eyes,
nose or breathing passages are irritated.
b. Breathing becomes difficult.
c. The air that you are breathing becomes unpleas-
antly hot.
d. You become faint or dizzy.
e. You notice a loss of or decrease in airflow.
f. The helmet moves, slides or leaks.
g. You feel tired
• This respirator does not protect exposed areas
of the body. Some impurities can be absorbed
directly through the skin while others can irritate
the exposed areas.
• This respirator does not provide any protection
against harmful noise. Always wear suitable
hearing protection.
• This respirator does not provide an oxygen
supply. Do not use the respirator in atmospheres
with less than 17 % oxygen (Europe), or less
than 19 % (Australia).
• This respirator may not be used under water, for
fumigation, firefighting, for abrasive or water jet
blasting procedures or in areas in which over
long periods high levels of heat or flames could
come into contact with the respirator.
