• Würth protective respirators, accessories and
related equipment must not be used in environ-
ments where there might be concentrations of
harmful substances above the lower explosion
limit (LEL).
• This respirator reduces the inhalation of impuri-
ties, but does not prevent it completely. For some
sensitive people, even these extremely low levels
of contaminants may have harmful health effects
when they are exposed to them. This respirator
will not prevent health problems occurring for
such people.
• The use of components other than those listed in
this manual or components approved by Würth
or any type of modification to this respirator
or accessories will invalidate all warranties
provided by Würth as well as any liability claims
for the respirator.
• If individuals have become sensitised to certain
chemicals, they may exhibit a strong reaction
to such chemicals even though they are at well
below acceptable limits, such as the OSHA's
Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL), the ACGIH's
Threshold Limit Value (TLV), or the Recommend-
ed Exposure Limits (REL) of the NIOSH. Do NOT
use this respirator if you have become sensitised
to or believe you are sensitive to or are allergic
to chemicals (e.g., isocyanates, latex, etc.)
due to previous exposure until you have been
cleared to do so by a doctor.
• Always read and follow the instructions in the
safety data sheet for chemicals that are in the
working area.
• Do not use the product if you suffer from a skin
condition (for example, folliculitus or vitiligo) until
you have been cleared to do so by a doctor.
• This respirator must be worn and used in accor-
dance with the instructions provided by Würth.
Do not omit any part of the respirator and follow
all mandatory steps of the instructions.
• No respirator offers full protection against all
conditions. If an emergency occurs, proceed
with extreme caution.
• Users must only clean and maintain this respi-
rator according to the instructions provided by
Würth. Accessories that are not supplied by
Würth may impair the performance.
• Stop using the respirator if you notice skin irrita-
tion or skin discolouration.
• If used incorrectly, this product may not offer
sufficient protection which could result in severe
bodily injuries, severe illness or even death.
• This product may only be used by trained spe-
cialist personnel.
• Do not use this respirator if it has been exposed
16
to a contaminated environment because dirt par-
ticles can collect in the inside of the helmet and
could be inhaled when pulling off the face seal.
• Routinely used respirators must be checked
before and after each use.
• Non-observation of any warning instructions can
result in severe injuries, severe injury or death.
