7.1 Maintenance
The machine glass thermometers do not require maintenance.
Repairs must only be carried out by the manufacturer.
7.2 Cleaning
CAUTION!
Physical injuries and damage to property and the
environment
Improper cleaning may lead to physical injuries and
damage to property and the environment. Residual
media in the dismounted instrument can result in a risk to
persons, the environment and equipment.

Carry out the cleaning process as described below.
WARNING!
Damage to the instrument
The machine glass thermometer is not protected against
external moisture. Water or condensate can collect in the
inside of the stem. The glass insert or the stem might be
damaged at temperatures below 0 °C.

Do not hose down with water!
▶
Do not use the thermometer outdoors without
sufficient weather protection.
