10. Thermowells as accessories

For applications with special loads, an additional thermowell in
accordance with DIN 43772 must be used.
Special loads might be produced by
high working pressure and/or temperature.

high flow rates of the medium.

corrosive and/or abrasive properties of the medium.

When using thermowells, machine glass thermometers can be
mounted and dismounted during operation. The plant can then
remain pressured and the lines do not need to be drained.
