5.4 CONNECT GATEWAY TO THE INTERNET
5.4.1 Via Ethernet
Still on the "Basic" tab, we can configure the Cassia X2000 gateway to connect to the internet via Ethernet. The
Ethernet connection has two modes: DHCP and Static.
In the DHCP mode, the gateway would ask the ethernet network of the installed infrastructure for an IP address,
which will be automatically provided by the infrastructure DHCP server. In this mode, it is possible to inform two
IP addresses for DNS; however, in the WEG application, these fields can be empty.

In Static mode, you must inform the IP address, the netmask and the "Gateway" of the local ethernet network.
This "Gateway" would be the equipment responsible for managing the ethernet network of the infrastructure on
which the Cassia X2000 is installed). DNS fields can be left blank as they will not be used for the WEG application.
