6 CONFIGURATION THE SENSORS
NOTE!
The configuration of the sensors does not require the Cassia X2000 gateway to be powered on. After
completing the configuration of the sensors, the gateway, once connected, will identify the sensors
in its area and establish the communication between them and their manufacturing plant selected
in the WEG MFM platform.
The sensor must be set to gateway mode in order to transmit data to the platform via the gateway. For this step,
a smartphone containing the WEG Motor Scan app must be used. If you do not have the app yet, Appendix C
will show you how to download it on the respective platform of your smartphone.
The steps to set up the sensors via app can be viewed directly in the app and in the images below:
1. On the WEG Motor Scan application home
screen, select the sensor you want to
configure in Nearby Sensors.
4. If you have already configured the
CassiaX2000 Gateway, press YES.

2. Press MORE on the
top tab.
5. If everything goes wel l, a
Success message will appear.
3. Select Turn on
gateway mode.
