INSTRUCTION MANUAL
Models
1. Applications
• Capture of potable water in wells with a diameter of up to 4";
• Supply for homes, farms and industries;
• Irrigation.
2. Characteristics
Pump
• Stainless steel tubular casing;
• Centrifugal impellers and diffusers in technopolymer;
• Suction casing and discharge casing in brass;
• Maximum diameter: 75mm (models 3BPS ci/ce, 3BPS2 and 3BPS3 ce);
• Maximum diameter: 97mm (models 4BPS2, 4BPS4, 4BPS6 and 4BPS8 ci).
Motor
• Submersible brushless permanent magnet motor with direct current supply;
• Stainless steel tubular casing;
• Cooled and oil lubricated (food grade);
• Sealing with 2 mechanical seals (model 3BPS ci/ce);
• Sealing with sand prevention, retainer and internal mechanical seal (models 3BPS2, 3BPS3 ce and 4BPS ci);
• Bearings: Ball bearing;
• Internal (ci) or external (ce) electronic controller with MPPT function.
Application limits
• Clean water;
• Maximum water temperature: 35°C;
• Maximum concentration of solid particles: 0.05%;
• Water pH: 6.5 - 8.5;
• Maximum content of mineral salts in water: 400mg/L;
• Maximum submergence: 50m;
• Minimum motor cooling speed: 0.08 m/s;
• Application with horizontal arrangement of the motor pump is not allowed;
• The motor pump must be installed above the filters region and must be at least 10m away from the bottom
of the well.
Operation
• The operation of the equipment must follow the recommendations and application limits mentioned,
otherwise it may cause damage to the equipment;
• The deep well motor pump must never be operated out of water;
• The equipment must operate with clean water, without sand or debris, otherwise it may cause equipment
malfunctions.
