GFCI Unit (Fig. 3)
Your tool is equipped with a GFCI (ground
fault circuit interrupter) unit mounted on the
power cord.
1. Plug GFCI unit into power outlet. Green indi-
cator light should turn on.
2. Tip the tool back with the guard facing up.
3. Press 'TEST' button. The indicator light
should turn off.
4. Press and release 'RESET' button. Green
indicator light should turn on.

Bosch Factory Service Center or Authorized

Depth Adjustment (Fig. 4)
1. Disconnect the plug from the power source
and place the tool on a flat, level surface.
2. Tip the tool to its side so that the guard fac-

5. Push down on the depth adjustment lever to
tighten it.
6. Bring the tool its normal position. Check the
resulting depth.
