Before you plug in an electrical cord, be sure all controls
¡
are in the OFF position.
A neutral supply wire must be provided from the power
¡
source (breaker) because critical range components,
including the surface burner spark reignition modules,
require it to operate safely and properly.
All 120 volt models must be plugged into a mating 3-
¡
prong, grounding-type receptacle. The receptacle must
be connected to a properly dedicated grounded and
polarized electrical power supply rated at 120 VAC,
single phase, 60 Hz.
Observe all governing codes and ordinances when
¡
grounding. In the absence of these codes or ordinances
observe National Electrical Code ANSI/ NFPA 70
current issue, or the relevant Canadian Electrical Code,
CSA C22.1 latest edition.

WARNING
To avoid risk of fire or electrical shock:
Do not allow the power cord to go beneath the range

The power cord can become dislodged underneath the
product, exposing it to high temperatures which can
cause the power cord to melt.
Follow the instructions carefully.

Wrap the power cord two loops, approximately 7"
1.
(178 mm) diameter each, behind the appliance.
On the bottom left, route the power cord through the

there is enough slack to allow the cord to reach the

Note: Plug styles may vary.
Setting the power cord guard - 36" and 48" Pro
Grand® models
At the base of the range, loosen the two (2) T-20
1.
starhead screws securing the power cord guard.
Slide the power cord guard down, as shown below, and
2.
re-secure the screws. This will further prevent the power
cord from entering the area under the base of the
range.
