place of use
For safe and trouble-free operation of
the appliance, the installation location

also resistant to splashing water.
Do not install the appliance in a

ment.
The mains socket must be easily

accessible and allow fast discon-
nection in the event of an emer-
gency.
The surface finishes on furniture

may contain substances that can
be detrimental to the feet of the ap-
pliance. If necessary, place a mat
under the feet of the appliance.
During operation, make sure that

no valuable object or objects sen-
sitive to damp or heat are located
in the vicinity of the appliance in
order prevent damage from hot
steam and water.
Do not install the appliance under

a wall cabinet.

Never place the appliance or parts
of the appliance in the vicinity of
strong heat sources and hot sur-
faces (e.g., heating, oven, grill)
Select a location that does not al-
low children to reach the hot sur-
faces of the appliance.
Do not lay tablecloths, cloths or
serviettes under the feet of the ap-
pliance, the appliance could slide
away.
In order to prevent someone from
pulling the cable, make sure the
mains cable does not hang down
The appliance may not be used or
stored outdoors.
Electrical connection
Before connecting the appliance,
compare the connection data (volt-
age and frequency) on the rating
plate with those of your mains
power supply. This data must cor-
respond in order to avoid damage
to the appliance. If in doubt, ask
your electrical appliance retailer.
The mains socket must be protect-
ed by at least a 16 A fuse.
