Using Back Light Compensation Mode (BLC)
✤ BLC works in both <Camera> and <M.Cam>
modes. ➥page 19
✤ Back lighting exists when the subject is darker
than the background:
- The subject is in front of a window.
- The person to be recorded is wearing white
or shiny clothes and is placed against a bright
background; the person's face is too dark to
distinguish his/her features.
- The subject is outdoors and the background is
overcast.
- The light sources are too bright.
- The subject is against a snowy background.
1. Set the [Power] switch to [CAMERA].
2. Set the [Mode] switch to [TAPE] or [CARD].
(SC-D375(H)/D975 only)
3. Press the [MENU] button.

The menu list will appear.
4. Press the [... ... / † † ] button to select <Camera>, then
press the [OK] button.
5. Press the [... ... / † † ] button to select <BLC>, then press
the [OK] button.
6. Press the [... ... / † † ] button to select <On>, then press
the [OK] button.
7. To exit, press the [MENU] button.

✤ BLC está operativa en los modos <Camera> y
<M.Cam>. ➥pág. 19
✤ Existe luz de fondo cuando el objeto que se va
a grabar es más oscuro que el fondo:
- Cuando el objeto está delante de una
ventana.
- Cuando se va a grabar a una persona que
lleva ropa blanca o brillante y se encuentra
frente a un fondo muy iluminado. En este
caso su cara estará demasiado oscura para
que se distingan sus facciones.
- Cuando el objeto se encuentra en el exterior
y el fondo está nublado.
- Cuando la fuente de luz es muy intensa.
- Cuando el objeto se encuentra delante de
un fondo nevado.
1. Coloque el interruptor [Power] en [CAMERA].
2. Coloque el interruptor [Mode] en [TAPE] o
[CARD]. (sólo SC-D375(H)/D975)
3. Presione el botón [MENU].
Aparecerá la lista de menús.

4. Presione el botón [... ... / † † ] para seleccionar
<Camera> y, a continuación, presione el botón
[OK].
5. Presione el botón [... ... / † † ] para seleccionar <BLC>
y, a continuación, presione el botón [OK].
6. Presione el botón [... ... / † † ] para seleccionar <On>
y, a continuación, presione el botón [OK].
7. Para salir, presione el botón [MENU].

Aparecerá el icono BLC (
