PLACING THE UNIT
DRESTER ACE units are equipment Category 2 (ref.
ATEX directive 2014/34/EU) and may therefore be
placed in locations classified as Zone 1 (ref. ATEX
directive 1999/92 EC).
Drester Ace units are marked:
E II 2 G
Ex h IIB T6 Ga Tamb 0ºC to +45ºC
If a DRESTER ACE unit is installed in locations
classified as Zone 2 or in unclassified locations, the
following is valid provided that the ventilation of
the unit is installed as described in this manual:
• The space within 1 m of the DRESTER ACE unit
is to be classified as Zone 2, and the inside of
the ducting as Zone 1.
• The extent of the classified area can be
reduced by means of ventilation.
• Within the classified areas, all equipment such
as electrical items must be approved for the
Zones described.

PERMITTED SOLVENTS
Warning!
• Never use any solvent lacking an MSDS
(Material Safety Data Sheet). Read the MSDS
carefully and follow all instructions and
procedures.
If you need more information about
the solvent, please contact your solvent
supplier.
• Never add other chemicals to the solvent.

Note! Check for local regulations concerning the
max. allowed volume of solvents kept in the unit.
All solvents must have a pH value between 4
and 10. Do not mix water-based solvents with
thinner-based solvents.
