Mounting the bow-type handle:
4 Slide the bow-type handle (1) onto the
lower bars (3).
5. Put the mounting screws (2a) through
the holes on the lower bars and bow-
type handle (1).
6. Screw the quick release levers (2)
onto the mounting screws (2a).
7. Lock the quick release levers (2) by
pressing them in the direction of the
bow-type handle (1).
They must fit the bow-type handle so
that tensioning can be carried out with
medium force.
Otherwise, the quick release levers (2)
must be turned clockwise for tensio-
ning them or anti-clockwise to loosen
them.
Clipping in the cable clamp:
8. Clip the enclosed cable clamp (
onto the lower bar (3) to fix the device
cable in place (11).
Mounting the grass col-
lection box
1. Attach the grass collection box carry-
ing handle (21) to the top of the grass
collection box (8b).
2. Fasten the grass collection box carry-
ing handle (21) with a recessed head
screw (17).
3. Connect the top and underside (8b) of
the grass collection box (8a+8b).
Operation
Attention: Do not operate the ap-
pliance until the collision guard
and grass catcher are fully in-
stalled. Risk of injury!

Mounting the grass catcher
1. Lift the collision guard (9).
2. Hang the grass collection box (8) into
the attachment (22) provided for it on
the rear of the device.
3. Lower the collision guard (9) onto the
grass catcher (8) - it will keep it in
place.
Removing the grass catcher
4. Lift the collision guard (9).
5. Unhook the grass catcher (8) from the
mounting bracket. Flap down the colli-
sion guard (9) to the housing.
On emptying the grass catcher
also refer to section "Disposal/en-
vironment".

Switching On and Off
1. Insert the mains cable plug into the
socket (13) on the bow-type han-
dle (1).
2. Turn the end of the extension cable
into a loop and hook it into the cable
strain relief (12).
3. Connect the equipment to the power
supply.
4. Before switching on, ensure that the
equipment is not in contact with any
objects.
5. To switch on, press the re-
lease button (15) on the
switchbox (14) while hold-
ing down the start han-
dle (16). Let go of the release but-
ton (15).
6. To switch off, release the
start lever (2).
