Please read the instructions carefully before assembling and
using the product. Keep the instructions for future reference.
Be careful when unpacking and assembling the product.
This product must be assembled by a responsible adult.
Remove all packaging materials and plastic bags and assemble
the product before giving it to your child.
WARNING! Do not step or stand on the back of the trike frame,
as this can overturn the product.
Trike modes: Warning! Not to be used by children over 36
months; insufficient strength to support.
Maximum child's weight: 15kg for infant trike; 20kg for other
modes.
Do not use on wet days or on wet ground.
HOW TO ASSEMBLE AND TRANSFORM THE EXPLORER TRIKE
FOLDABLE 4in1
A. Assembling the INFANT TRIKE (10-36 months)
1. To unfold the legs of the rear wheels, use the red buttons on
the rear of the trike frame. Press and hold the red button to
rotate the corresponding leg until it is fully extended (you
hear a click). Release the button to lock the leg securely in
place. Repeat the procedure on the other leg.
2. Align the front wheel fork with the trike frame and insert the
steering shaft of the fork through the frame.
3. Hold the handlebars above the trike frame, making sure
the front is facing forward, away from the saddle. Align the
steering shaft of the fork with the column of the handlebars,
and push the handlebars down firmly until the parts lock into
place with a click.
4. Insert the rear wheels into the legs so that the wheels are
facing outward and the parking devices are facing up
towards the ceiling, and push firmly until the wheels click into
place.
5. To install the saddle:
a. Open the lever of the clamp at the top of the trike frame.
b. Press and hold the spring-loaded button on the bottom
of the seat post, insert the seat post into the trike frame
and push the saddle down until the spring-loaded button
passes completely through the trike frame.
c. Press the spring-loaded button on the bottom of the seat
post and lower the saddle until the spring-loaded button
on the top of the seat post locks into the trike frame at
the "MAX" level mark. This position is the high setting of
the saddle. The saddle can be adjusted into 2 heights
(33cm/ 36cm).
d. For infant trike, set the saddle to the low position. To adjust
the saddle to the low position, press the black button on
the clamp and push the saddle all the way down.
e. Close the lever of the clamp to lock the saddle securely in
place.
6. Press and hold the red pedal release tab on the front wheel
hub, insert the pedal into the hub aligning the slot in the
pedal with the guide in the hub, release the tab and push
the pedal in (until you hear a click). Repeat the procedure
on the other pedal. Check that the pedals are locked
securely in place.
7. To attach the footrest, hold the footrest under the seat post
with the wings pointing forward. Press the spring-loaded
button on the bottom of the seat post and push the footrest
onto the post until the spring-loaded button clicks into the
hole in the footrest. Turn the knob under the footrest 90
degrees to lock the footrest securely in place.
WARNING! Make sure the footrest is securely locked before each
use.
8. To install the harnessed seat:
a. Simultaneously press the large red buttons located on
both sides of the seat to unfold the backrest.
b. Unfold the headrest by pushing the 2 red buttons on the
back of the headrest inward, if it is folded down.
c. Place the seat on the saddle making sure the knob under
the seat is aligned with the slot in the saddle, so the knob
can pass through the saddle.

d. Turn the knob under the saddle 90 degrees to lock the
seat to the saddle.
9. To install the left and right safety bars:
a. Make sure that the saddle is set to the low position (refer
to step 5 above).
b. Connect the corresponding ends of the left and right
safety bars to the side openings located in the waist of
the seat's backrest, and push them in (until you hear a
click).
c. Rotate the left and right handlebars toward the seat by
pressing the red buttons at the base of the handlebars.
d. Connect the other ends of the left and right safety bars to
the handlebars and push them until they click into place.
10. Align the ends of the canopy with the side openings located
in the upper section of the seat's backrest and push them in
until they click into place.
11. To assemble the parent handle (push bar): Press the spring-
loaded button to insert the upper section of the bar (handle
section) into the lower section. Slide the upper section until
the spring-loaded button clicks into one of the holes to
lock the sections. The parent handle can be adjusted into 2
heights (100cm/ 103cm).
To install the parent handle (push bar) on the trike: Slide the
security ring up the bar and carefully insert the bar through
the holes located on the back of the seat, saddle, and trike
frame. Push the parent handle down until the steering shaft
at the end of the bar clicks into the trike frame. Slide the
security ring down the bar and insert the tab on the ring into
the slot in the backrest to secure the parent handle to the
backrest.
NOTE: When the parent handle (push bar) is installed properly,
the parent handle is connected with the handlebars and front
wheel fork to allow parents to steer the trike.
12. Slide the cup holder into the dedicated slot on the parent
handle (push bar).
Warning! Don't overload the cup holder. 900g (2lbs) max.
Overloading the cup holder may cause a hazardous unstable
condition.
WARNING! Make sure the seat and safety bars are securely
locked before each use.
SECURE YOUR CHILD ON THE INFANT TRIKE
– The 5-point harness system
is set on the seat; adjust the
slider on each strap before
first use. The shoulder straps
and the waist straps should fit
firmly around the child.
– To buckle, slot the end of the
shoulder strap to the end of
the waist strap; do the same
on both left and right sides.
– Then, insert both components to the buckle housing on the
between-leg strap until you hear a click.
– Double check it is securely locked and all 5 straps are well fit
to the child.
– The saftey belt on the backrest can be adjusted to 2 heights.
WARNING! Always fasten with the 5-point harness while using the
trike with the seat on it.
WARNING! Secure the child in the harness at all times.
