AUGER MOTOR OVERLOAD PROTECTION
To prevent auger motor overload conditions, do not try to remove too much snow at a
time, slow down your pace or decrease the width of the snow-clearing swath.
Your snow blower has built-in overload-sensing elements. When the auger motor is
overloaded, the auger motor will decrease the auger rotation speed automatically and
you will hear the volume (noise) of the motor decrease. In case of the overload, slow
down your pace or narrow the clearing width, after which the auger motor speed will
resume its normal setting automatically. If this remedy does not solve the overload
situation, the sensor will shut off the auger motor automatically and the power indicator
will flash orange slowly/fast.
◾
When the power indicator flashes orange slowly, release the auger-switch trigger
Restart the augers and slow down your pace or decrease the snow clearing cut
width when working.
◾
When the power indicator flashes orange fast, remove the battery pack(s)
from the snow blower. Check to see if there is snow or ice buildup in the auger
and deck. If necessary, use the chute cleaning tool to clear them out following
instructions for "CLEARING A CLOGGED CHUTE". Reinstall the battery pack(s) and
restart the snow blower.
