8.4 Replacing the dispensing cartridge
The dispensing cartridge is a wear part. In case of sluggishness or leakage between cylinder and pis-
ton, the dispensing cartridge must be replaced. To prevent injuries due to chemical exposure, clean-
ing must be performed before replacing the dispensing cartridge (see Cleaning, p. 67).

The discharge valve is built into dispensing tube.
a.
Dismantle the dispensing tube and clean in an ultra-
sonic bath if necessary.

Install cleaned or new dispensing tube.

Screw the instrument onto an empty bottle and empty
it completely by dispensing multiple times.

With one hand, press the actuating unit downward all
the way and hold it. Loosen the volume selector thumb
screw by a half turn, slide the pointer vertically to the
upper stop and re-tighten the volume thumb screw.
