H - LEVEL ADJuSTMENTS PROCESS
As starting point, for all the DigiCompact-8 stations of
your desired configuration (see fig ABCDE from stepJ) is
convenient to turn down the adjustment "RFLevel-1" of
all modules and the RFLevel-2 of the corresponding am-
plifier (see figure H1). In these conditions measure (using
an analyzer) the channel with the maximum output level
at the station amplifier. Equalize at this output level all
the other station modules using the adjustment RFLe-
vel-1. Once all the channels are equalized, adjust the
general output of the station using RFLevel-2 to the level
recommended for your specific installation configuration
(refer to fig ABCDE of step J/K). Do the same process for
every DigiCompact-8 station present in your installation.
FIG. H1
If you need to connect an additional amplifier, type
AM1100 or AM1090, to the output of the system mixer
(see fig BCDF of step J) then adjust the RFLevel-3 to the
maximum (fig. H2). Connect analyzer to any of this new
amplifier outputs of the systemn and equalize the levels
of each station using the general RFLevel-2 (fig. H1). The
level to be obtained is the recommended one on the fi-
gures BCDF. If you need higher output level, then turn up
the adjustment RFLevel-2 from each station. Otherwise,
if you need to reduce the general level due to intermo-
dulation problems, then turn down the adjustment RFLe-
vel-3 from the last amplifier.
FIG. H2
Atention: to adjust levels, all receiver boards must have
the RF ON led lighted by means of their asociated switch
(see figure C6B). If some interference appears, you will
be able to disconnect the RF output of receiver boards
(one by one) until finding the causing one. If it would be
necessary, reduce levels to improve.
