TROUBLESHOOTING
THE MACHINE DOES NOT SWITCH ON
If the machine does not switch on, check the following:
1.Make sure the main switch is on "I".
2.Make sure the plug (2) on the power supply cable (3) is correctly inserted in the mains socket
(4). If necessary, connect it.
3.Make sure the electronic specifications of the machine correspond with those of the mains sup-
ply (check the technical data on the serial number plate).
4.Make sure the collection tank is not full of liquid substances. If it is, empty it (read "EMPTYING
THE COLLECTION TANK").
INSUFFICIENT VACUUM
If the vacuuming capacity is insufficient, check the following:
1.Make sure the vacuum hose is correctly connected to the nozzle on the collection tank.
2.Make sure the vacuum hose is correctly connected to the accessory being used.
3.Make sure there are no impurities blocking the vacuum hose.
4.Make sure there are no impurities blocking the vacuum chamber of the accessory being used.
5.Make sure the cartridge filter is not dirty (read "IMPROVING THE VACUUMING CAPACITY" and, if
this is not sufficient, "CLEANING THE CARTRIDGE FILTER").
6.If you are removing liquids, make sure the sponge filter is not dirty (read "IMPROVING THE VA-
CUUMING CAPACITY" and, if this is not sufficient, "CLEANING THE SPONGE FILTER").
7.Make sure the secondary filters (sponge, permanent fabric or nylon) are not dirty (if necessary,
clean them - read "CLEANING THE SPONGE FILTER" or "CLEANING THE PERMANENT FABRIC
FILTER (OPTIONAL)" or "CLEANING THE NYLON FILTER (OPTIONAL)" depending on the type).
