A-STEM INSTALLATION
1.
Cut the steerer tube 1 to 2 mm below the top of the stem. For the 675, refer to the frame
instructions.
2.
Press the star wheel or the compression kit (supplied with the fork) inside the steerer tube.
Ensure that the steerer tube and the handlebar are perfectly clean.
3.
Fit the stem on the steerer tube carefully respecting the order: centering stem support
piece (8), stem support (7), stem body (3). Do not tighten.
NB: To obtain low angulation for your stem, fit it with the tightening screws directed to the
left; for high angulation tighten them directed to the right.
4.
Fit the handlebar on the stem. Ensure that the screw
threads are sufficiently greased then tighten the four
cap screws (1) using an Allen key of 4, progressively
and in cross formation (Fig. 2) to the recommended
torque of 6 Nm.
5.
Fit and tighten the compression cap (5) with the
compression screw (4) using an Allen key of 5 to
the recommended torque of 2 Nm so the headset is
compressed.
6.
Tighten the blocking screws of the stem (6) in order to
block it on the steerer tube with an Allen key of 4 to
the recommended torque of 6 Nm.
IMPORTANT:
In the event a carbon handlebar is being used, the use of a carbon assembly paste of
Tacx Dynamix or Motorex Carbon Grease type improves the adhesion of your handlebar
on the stem.

Always clean your accessory with soap or a
light detergent and some water.
Use a soft cloth. Rinse with water and dry
with a cloth.
Do not use a high pressure cleaning
appliance or abrasive products.

In spite of the care brought to our
manufacturing, if a defect appears or if
repair seems necessary, always contact

your retailer with the accessory and the
purchasing bill.

one year starting on the purchase date
against any defect or manufacturing flaw.

This warranty remains limited to the
initial purchaser and proof of purchase is
required (original bill).
The warranty applies only if the product is
assembled in compliance with the above
instructions.
The warranty does not apply to defects due
to lack of maintenance or incorrect use.
The warranty also becomes void if
the product has undergone technical
modification by the user or if it was

repaired, repainted out of our authorized
LOOK service centres.
The warranty does not cover the following
cases:
* Defects caused by negligence or lack of
maintenance
* Accidents
* Indirect accessory damages
The
expenses
of
assembling,
disassembling, labour time, packaging and
sending are not covered.
Do not pierce, paint or re-varnish.
Do not leave the frame near a source of
heat.
ALWAYS DO THE FOLLOWING:
Inspect your bike before using it.
If the tubes of your LOOK frame were
subject to damage, bring the bike to
your LOOK retailer for an inspection.
Acquaint yourself with the laws in
force in the country where you are if
you ride at night.
Reflectors are not sufficient and do not
replace lighting.
Use a cycling helmet
Acquaint yourself with the Highway
Code and respect it.
Beware of the dangers of the road and
of the traffic.
