Liquid propane gas is flammable and hazardous if handled improperly. Understand the characteristics before using
any propane product.
1. Propane characteristics: Flammable, explosive under pressure, heavier than air, settles in pools and low areas.
2. In its natural state, propane has no odor. For your safety, an odorant has been added.
3. Contact with propane can cause freeze burns to the skin.
4. The gas gril side should be used with propane gas only.
5. Never use a propane cylinder with a damaged body, valve, collar, or footing.
6. Dented or rusted propane cylinders may be hazardous and should be checked by your propane gas supplier.
Live coals and grill components get extremely hot during use and can start fires.
1. It is imperative that you have a fire extinguisher and first-aid kit handy in case of an accident or fire.
2. Only tip out the ash once the charcoal has completely burned out and cooled down.
Flammable liquids that are poured on the embers may cause flash flames or explosions.
1. Never use flammable liquids such as petrol or spirit.
2. Do not put pieces of charcoal soaked in flammable liquid onto the embers.
