1. Insert the battery pack (8) on the handle groove and slip
it all the way until you hear a "click" noise from the
lock/unlock button. At this point, the battery is locked in
place;
2. To remove the battery, press the lock/unlock button and
pull it out.
For best results, make sure the battery is fully
charged before use.
Never press the spindle lock button during operation of the
circular saw, otherwise damage to the circular saw may
result.
1. Press the spindle lock button to prevent the spindle from
rotating when installing or removing the blade (1);
2. To release the rotation spindle, release the lock button.
Always wear protective gloves when installing the
blade.
1. Remove the battery;
2. Press the spindle lock button and rotate the blade (1)
until it locks in place;
3. Loosen the blade fixing bolt (3) using the hex key
supplied;
4. Remove the bolt and flange (3);
5. Pull the lower blade guard retracting lever (5)
completely and remove the blade;
6. Install the new blade over the inner flange in the
direction shown on the blade and on the fixed blade
guard;
7. Release the lower blade guard retracting lever (4);
8. Place the flange and screw the blade fixing bolt onto the
spindle;
9. Press the spindle lock button and tighten the bolt;
10. Fit the battery;
11. Carry out a test run at maximum speed to check the
correct installation of the blade.
1. Loosen the parallel guide fixing bolt (14);
2. Insert the parallel guide's ruler into the hole in the base
plate (2);
3. Tighten the bolt.
The circular saw is supplied with an adapter for a shaving's
extraction device.
1. Insert the vacuum cleaner accessory to the dust and
shavings vacuum adaptor (6);
2. Insert the vacuum cleaner hose into the accessory;
3. Always switch on the vacuum cleaner before starting
operation with the circular saw.
While operating the circular saw, you should consider some
guidelines for use:
▪ Keep your hands away from the blade and cutting
surface, the blade can jump back at you and cause
serious injury. Always hold the circular saw with both
hands;
▪ Never hold a workpiece with your hands or use your legs
as a support while you are working. Secure the
workpiece on a stable and completely stationary surface.
It is important to properly keep the workpiece steady to
minimise the risk of kickback and loss of control;
▪ Do not have or place anything underneath the
workpiece. Under the workpiece, the circular saw guard
cannot protect you from the blade;
▪ When cutting wood lengthwise, always use a guide. This
improves the accuracy and reduces the chance of blade
jamming;
▪ Adjust the cutting depth to the thickness of the
workpiece. At least one complete tooth of the blade
should be visible below the workpiece;
▪ Before each use, you should check the condition of the
lower guard;
