Allow for at least 30 mm of free space under the induction hob to ensure good ventilation.
-
The installation worktop must be able to withstand a minimum weight of 20 kg.
-
If there is a drawer under the induction hob, do not use it to store flammable objects (such
as sprays) or objects that aren't heat resistant.
-
The worktop may swell due to moisture. To protect the trimmed edge, apply a layer of
special varnish or sealant. Pay special attention when applying the adhesive gasket
supplied with the induction hob to prevent any leakage into the supporting furniture. The
gasket ensures good sealing when applied on smooth worktops.
-
The safety distance between the induction hob and the kitchen hood above must comply
with the kitchen hood manufacturer's recommendations. If there are no instructions given,
maintain a minimum distance of 760 mm. Fig. 6

Refer only to a qualified electrician who is familiar with, and strictly adheres to, the
applicable regulations when making electrical connections.
-
Ensure that parts subjected to mechanical stress are properly protected after assembly.

that the mains plug is earthed.
-
Connect the hob to an earthed socket or by means of an omnipolar circuit breaker with a
minimum opening of 3 mm between contacts.

-
The electrical circuit must be separated from the mains by suitable devices, e.g., circuit
breakers, fuses, or contactors.
-
If the appliance is not equipped with an accessible plug, disconnecting means must be
implemented in the fixed installation in accordance with installation regulations.
-
The inlet hose must be positioned so as not to touch any of the hot parts of the induction
hob.
-
Follow the connection method shown in Figure 9.
Phase: black and brown wires.
Neutral: grey and blue wires.
Earth: yellow/green wire.
WARNING:
If the junction-box screws are frequently unscrewed and screwed in, the tightness could be
affected once they are screwed back in. It is therefore suggested to screw and unscrew as
rarely as possible.
-
Make sure that the cords are properly fastened and tensioned.
-
Cecotec will not be held responsible for any incident resulting from incorrect connection
or use of an appliance that has not been earthed or an appliance fitted with a faulty earth
connection.
4. OPERATION
Control panel
-
The icons are touch sensitive, so there is no need to apply excessive pressure in them.
-
Use the base of your finger, not the tip. Fig. 10
-
You will hear a beep every time the hob detects a finger.
Make sure the icons are always clean and dry and that no object (e.g., cookware or a cloth)
-
is covering them. Even a thin layer of water can hinder the proper operation of the touch
icons.
Operation
1.
Press the power touch icon.
After switch-on, you will hear an acoustic signal and the control panel will display "–" or "– –" to
indicate that the induction hob has entered Standby mode. The icons will light up on the panel.
Place suitable cookware on the cooking zone you wish to use.
2.
Make sure the bottom of the cookware and the cooking-zone surface are clean and dry.
3.
When touching the cooking-zone selection touch icon, the indicator will flash.
4.
Adjust the power level by sliding your finger on the power/time slider.
